Please Sign Governor Carney’s No Drilling Letter To The Department Of Interior

Governor John Carney in September signed Senate Bill 200 and Senate Bill 207, to protect Delaware’s coasts from offshore drilling.

Governor John Carney has a page set up for you to sign and submit a letter to the Department of the Interior.  ” Drilling in the Atlantic would pose significant threats to Delaware’s natural resources and our economy.  I am proud to stand with fellow Atlantic state governors in opposition to seismic testing and drilling for oil and gas off our coasts. There’s too much at risk for Delaware and the Atlantic Seaboard to allow this to go unchallenged  ”

Follow the link below to sign and submit this letter.  Also there are links, audio, and video about everything that has been going on about this issue for Delaware.

In my opinion, as many of you know, this is a dangerous idea for the entire east coast.  We have been told time and again by BOEM, the that there is about a year’s supply of oil out there, it is not worth the risk for such a little return.  This would also open up the Atlantic coast line for more than just drilling for oil, including fracking.
