Orbital ATK Antarres Set To Launch Oct 9th
The Orbital ATK Antarres is set to launch on October 9th at 10:47 PM from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. This will be the perfect time of night to see a rocket, especially this time of year. Only issue may be the spin off from hurricane Mathew or the full onslaught of one. Otherwise we will have a great view from the beaches in Delaware, Even inland you will have a good view of the launch. The Cygnus spacecraft will carry cargo, supplies and experiments to the International Space Station. If the weather is a no go, there are back up dates for the 10th to the 13th. Hurricane Mathew could become an issue for the launch. That is too early to call right now.
