Delaware State Park Fees Increase Starts February 15

Delaware State park fee increases will occur on   February 15th for Annual Pass fee and Surf-fishing Vehicle fees.  Daily user fees will increase on March 1st.  It is recommended that you get your annual passes before February 15th to avoid this fee increase.  Remember surf tags can be purchased for up to two years and will be valid for the 2015 and 2016 years.  You can purchase the tags at any state park office or the Indian River Life Saving Station.  Getting your tags now for 2 years will save you $30 to $60.  You can order online from the parks here.
Fee increases are the following.

Daily user fees will increase to $1 for residents and $2 for out of state visitors.
Annual Passes will increase $8 for residents and a $16-increase for nonresidents.

Surf tag prices will increase $15 for residents and $30 for out of state visitors.
Delaware registered vehicles for 1 year  $80
Delaware registered vehicles for 2 years  $160
Senior Delaware registered vehicles for 1 year  $70
Senior Delaware registered vehicles for 2 years  $140

Seniors 62 years of age and over may purchase an annual pass for the listed rates. The senior adult must be present in the vehicle when entering the park.

Seniors 65 years of age and over and are Delaware residents may purchase a lifetime pass. The senior adult must be present in the vehicle when entering the park.
